Dwight Man Cheong Heleikalani Lee Sr., 73, of Ocean View, died March 13 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired U.S. Army chief warrant officer, 2nd class. Private services held. Survived by sons, Dwight Lee Jr. of Waipahu, Oahu, and Jason (Tiara) Lee of Washington state; daughter, Dawn Lee of Wahiawa, Oahu; sisters, Darlene K. Kaholokula and Paula (Derwin) Villanueva of Honolulu; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Thalia Haimakaokalani Kauka

Thalia Haimakaokalani Kauka, 63, of Hilo died March 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a former office clerk at the County of Hawaii Planning Department. No services. Survived by son, Jeremy J.N. Costa of Hilo; brothers, Robert (Lisa) Kauka of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Dennis (Enola) Kauka of Hilo; sisters, Gabrielle Fromme of Germany and Carolyn “Lei” Nobriga of Hilo; companion, David Pereira; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Matthew Todd Warholic, 52, of Mountain View died March 22 in Kealakekua. Born in Indiana, Pa.. he was a teacher. Memorial gathering at a later date.
