KAILUA-KONA — Kealakehe Elementary School celebrated the last day of school Thursday with its annual Songfest. Keiki performed song and dance for relatives and friends on the school field.

Thursday marked the final day of school for Hawaii Island public school students. The Department of Education said schooling is set to resume Aug. 6.
