Big Island HSA hosts 1st event of new season

KAILUA-KONA — Formed in the early 1960’s, the Hawaii Surfing Association has been introducing keiki and adults to the sport of competitive surfing. The Big Island has their own chapter of the HSA and the organization held its first meet of the new season on Saturday at Banyans off Alii Drive.

Old Airport Tennis Courts reopen

The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation announced the reopening of the Kailua Park tennis courts at Old Airport Park on Friday.

Poulter leads at 62, with Woods 4 behind at Firestone
