The Waimea Hawaiian Homesteaders’ Association, Inc. will be celebrating Prince Kuhio from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Kuhio Hale in Waimea. Prince Kuhio will be remembered for his efforts to introduce and seek passage of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act, restore the Royal Order of Kamehameha I and found the Hawaiian civic club movement.
