Kona Arts Center will sponsor a class on adding pen and ink to compliment and enhance watercolors. The class will be held March 24 and March 31 at the KAC in Kainaliu. Collie Will, an artist at KAC since 1991, will be the instructor. The first class will focus on adding watercolor to a pen and ink drawing and during the second class, students will add pen and ink highlights to a completed watercolor.
The cost for the two-day class is $80.
Participants will need watercolor supplies and a good permanent ink pen. Micron pens are recommended. For most things, blank ink works best, but other colors are available. For more information, call Will at 325-6185, email columbinewill@gmail.com or visit KAC across from the fabric store. KAC is open 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
