North Hawaii Community Hospital’s chief medical officer is stepping down from his leadership position next month.
Dr. William Park will, however, continue to serve as senior general surgeon and remain on the hospital’s Board of Directors. Meanwhile, the hospital is actively recruiting a full-time executive director to lead its North Hawaii Medical Group. Until then, Ken Wood, NHCH president and chief executive officer, is the interim director.
Park served as the North Hawaii Medical Groups’s chief medical officer for 18 months.
North Hawaii Medical Group, established in January 2011, is an affiliate organization of NHCH consisting of multispecialty health care providers.
