Emiko Sato

Emiko Shigaki Sato, 91, of Kailua-Kona, formerly of Honolulu, died Aug. 3 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Oct. 29, 1920, in Hilo, she was a retired bundler and seamstress for Sun Fashions of Hawaii and member of Kona Hongwanji Mission.

Private services were held.

She is survived by daughter, Susan (Vernon) Wong, of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Helen Maruyama, of Honolulu, Grace Sato, of Arizona; two grandsons; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
