Mitsuo “Tug” Shinde, 86, of Honokaa, died Aug. 24 at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born in Paauhau, he was a retired tractor operator with the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and a Honokaa Hongwanji Mission member.
Private family services were held. The family requests no monetary donations.
He is survived by sisters, Yoshie (Lawrence) Hashimoto of Honolulu, Miyoko Shinde of Honolulu, Satsuki (James) Naito of Ookala, HI; numerous nieces and nephews.
