Asato teaching Saturday card-making class

Award-winning artist Charlene Asato will lead a paper crafting workshop, “Cards can be Circles, Triangles and Squares,” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.

Workshop attendees will learn how to create unique cards using atypical shapes.

The workshop cost is $35, $31.50 for center members, plus a $10 supply fee.
