Shell-painting workshop set for Nov. 10

David Carlin presents “They Live Again,” a hand-painted shell jewelry workshop, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Blue Sea Artisans in Kona International Market.

Participants will paint shells to string a one-of-a-kind necklace.

The class costs $45, including most materials. Students should bring tweezers, a small paint palette and Nos. 0 and 1 brushes.
