Gloria Jean Danford, 87, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 28 at her residence. Born April 25, 1925, in Evanston, Ill., she was a homemaker and a former food demonstrator for Costco.

Private services are planned.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela Mahi and Deborah Kent, both of Kailua-Kona; son, Danny Danford of Kailua-Kona; sister, Luella (Curly) Greening of Shelby Shores, Ala.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
