Expressive woodwork

Big Island artists Jan Orbom and Tess Rumley will present “Expressions and Impressions in Wood” at a public reception from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Rumley Gallery inside King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel. Both artists will feature sculptures and furniture crafted from local wood, including koa, kiawe, mango and monkeypod. Pupu will be served; Orbom will provide musical entertainment.
