Rodney Yarberry

Rodney Burl Yarberry, 92, of Hilo died Dec. 14, 2012, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Colorado, he was a retired state superintendant of public schools for the state of Hawaii.

He is survived by sons, Duston (Susan) Yarberry of California, Christopher (Pamela) Yarberry of Tennessee, Matthew (Shola Ricco) Yarberry of Orchidland; daughters, Sara Yarberry of Keaau, Megan Yarberry of Hilo; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
