Sayoko Doi

Sayoko Doi, 89, of Kawaihae, died March 14, 2013 at her residence. Born May 19, 1923, in Hakalau, she co-owned and managed the former T. Doi & Sons store and was a member of Kamuela Hongwanji.

Private services were held. Family requests no koden.

She is survived by son Ted Doi of Kawaihae; daughters, Sandra Lynn (Kenneth) Uemura of Hilo, Irma (George) Matsuo of Kawaihae; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
