The Department of Water Supply says its contractor has determined DWS will need to replace the well’s motor and pump. The repair timeline is pending availability dates for materials needed. Once known, a schedule for completion of repairs will be developed and made available to the public.
The fill station will remain closed until the well is repaired. Alternate spigot sites are available in Waiohinu and Hookena.
