Alan Ayano, 65, Kailua Kona, died April 30, 2013, in Mexico. Born Oct. 12, 1947, in Honolulu, he was the owner and captain of the charter fishing boat, “Lady Dee” at Honokohau Harbor.
Friends may call at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Clubhouse at Honokohau Harbor for a memorial service. Scattering of his ashes and luncheon will follow. The family requests casual attire.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Ayano of Kailua-Kona; son, David Ayano of Ocean View.
