Dionicio G. “Don” Galon Jr., 69, of Honolulu died Feb. 22, 2013, at Tripler Army Medical Center. Born Jan. 24, 1944, in Hilo, he was retired from the Army.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. May 25 at Pukaana Congregational Church in Kealia for a 9:30 a.m. service. Private scattering of ashes will be at a later date. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Stella Galon of Honolulu; sons, Troy Galon of Honolulu, Michael and Mark Galon, both of Kailua-Kona; daughters Malia (Honey) Galon of Kailua-Kona, Loyal (Darell) Galon of Waihiawa, Oahu, a daughter of Germany; brothers, Ronald Galon of Nanakuli, Douglas Galon of Keaau; half sister, Marilyn of Aiea, Oahu; four grandchildren.
