Two hurricanes form in Eastern Pacific

Forecasters are keeping tabs on a pair of tropical storms strengthening in the Eastern Pacific far east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands. The first is Tropical Storm Miriam, which was located about 1,110 miles east-southeast of Hilo as of Wednesday morning, and Tropical Storm Norman, which was located more than 2,500 miles east-southeast of Hilo.
