KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii Island police arrested 22 motorists for suspected drunken driving between Oct. 22 and Sunday. Two of the drivers were involved in a traffic crash.

This is a joke. Over the last three years these dui arrests are always 20 to 24. There must be a quota the police don’t want to arrest more because of the time and paperwork involved so they do this 20 a week thing to appease people. In reality they could arrest 50 a nite easily as well as 50 a day with illegal tires on their vehicles… Stop traffic deaths by arresting these violators easy to do.. Look at vehicles make arrest .
Again WHT with the fake news about DUI stops. At least the involvelment in 2 crashes.
Nowhere is the statement about fatalities connected with DUI stops, most of which come from the bogus entrapment setups they use.
how about an honest article about what caused these fatalities rather than a vague and dishonest attempt to get low-info types to think it was all drunk drivers?
