There’s a better way
Soon, we all will be inundated with campaign ads and propaganda. Mail, email, radio, TV, Twitter, etc.
Some will promise that they can and will fix what is wrong in America. They may even believe what they say. But most won’t. They will say whatever is necessary to get our votes. They will sell out for big money donations. They will be about as believable as a Marvel movie.
Enough already! Cut the crap!
Where are the Eisenhowers and JFKs and RFKs that we need? Dead. Killed because they actually wanted to change the way we Americans see and relate to one another, our nation and the world. They saw the truth and decided to change it. They were not fools or believed in fantasies. They actually thought that America could and should be a light to the world.
They had a dream of a better world. One that is at peace, not forever war. They thought America could lead the way out of the darkness of nuclear Armageddon.
Some of you think that the current crop of politicians want to bring harmony and light to our nation and the world. They don’t. They just want to continue the current regime of spend, tax, debt, war and divisiveness. It doesn’t matter which candidate we seem to choose, we are going to get more of the same old thing.
Our votes will not go to correct the wrongs or the spending or bring peace. No. The political theater will go on just as before until the entire nation and the world either goes completely broke and/or up in the flames of war.
So, what is the answer? Don’t vote? No. That just leads to evil winning by default. Is it voting for the lesser evil? No. Evil is evil. Incompetence still leads to evil winning.
There is one candidate that is actually not bought and in the pocket of big money. One candidate that has a better plan for our nation. Yeah, I know what you think. Sure, some extremist, right or left, that has a plan.
Well, that is half right. He has a plan. But he is not an extremist. He is not a fool. His family name is very well-known. I will not tell you who he is. You need to think outside the box and find him yourself.
His platform is not like all the rest. He is not like all the rest.
I truly believe that this man has a better path for America than what the others are offering. Read his platform when you find him. You will see what I mean.
There is a better way.

‘Stop the insanity‘
What are Gov. Josh Green and Mayor Mitch Roth going to do about the homeless problem here on the Big Island?
Look at downtown Hilo. Not only are the homeless trashing the place, they are often violent toward one another. They are aggressively panhandling, and we are supposed to just suck it up and be nice. Wrong answer.
Empathy and compassion are a part of being aloha. Do we all live here in service to the homeless? Short answer is no.
Long answer is thanking liberal leadership for liberal permissiveness for unending guilt vibes if you do not hand out your money to the person on the traffic island.
Stop the insanity. Stop handing out freebies to the world at others’ expense.
