A Thin Blue Line flag flies at Splasher’s Grill Friday morning in Kailua-Kona. “Our police officers need to know that they have our support. They’re out there supporting us every day and every night and every morning and they’re very selfless in that capacity. As a community, and as a business, we support them, we appreciate all that they do — even though it often does go unnoticed,” said Inde Coggins, owner of Splashers Grill in Kailua-Kona, of why she proudly displayed the flag.
