Neighbors sound off on jail expansion proposal they feel left them out

HILO — Officials from the state Departments of Public Safety and Accounting and General Services came to Hilo Thursday night to brief the public about the planned new housing module at Hawaii Community Correctional Center’s Punahele Street site.
