Nonprofit Keep Puako Beautiful is holding a Community Coastal Cleaup Day on the beach and trails or in the water from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 22 at Hapuna Beach State Park in South Kohala.
The event, being held in conjunction with International Coastal Cleanup Day, will include a cleanup as well as partner exhibits, marine debris art booth, guessing games for prizes, and an education wheel.
Attendees are asked to take bring water bottles, snacks and lunch items for personal comfort and safety. Volunteers should RSVP to keeppuakobeautiful@gmail.com.
