Stop crying about it

Thank you, Anna Santos. It’s about time someone wrote a letter like this. I’m also a senior, 88. I raised my three children as a single parent, with no help from their father or the government. My children grew up with the knowledge that you can be anything you want, no matter your gender, but you had to work at it.

We earned the respect of men, by working along side, doing as good job as they did, when we were harassed, we took care of it right there, didn’t run to some group, the government or the press, to take care of it. We took care it right then and there. To me, that’s when women were real women. We were too busy caring for our children and families to run away to protests to spread more hate.

Use your time to help a wounded veteran, volunteer at a children’s hospital or a veterans hospital, then you will see the real world and really make our nation strong again, forget the me, me, me. Ladies, and gentlemen, put your big girl and boy pants on, accept the fact that your party lost. In all my years, there were several presidents with whom I did not agree but I backed to help my country residents I didn’t agree with, but I backed them.

All of you who are starting protests, and flapping your mouths, you could make your county better by staying home and raising your kids to be honest and patriotic.

Take that money and time your using to spread hate, donate that time and money to a children’s hospital, a wounded veterans hospital, help baby-sit for a single mother, so she can afford to go to work to support her family: Join the real world.

I’m so disgusted with people, movie stars included, flapping their mouths. OK, let’s put your time and money where your mouth is. This is what will make America strong again, do your share and let the new president do his job for the American people.
