Police: Kalavi located

Big Island police have located 22-year-old Misinale Kalavi Jr. of Keaau, who was wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged shooting that injured a Puna man in fall 2011.

Kalavi turned himself in Wednesday at the Pahoa police station, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and subsequently released pending further investigation.
