Big Island police are asking the public’s help locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a reported stabbing May 22 in Kailua-Kona.
Tommy Eugan Howard, 29, who also goes by the names Casino, Tommy Washington and Cesar Waltz, is described as African-American with black hair and brown eyes, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He may wear contact lenses that alter his eye color.
Howard, who is also wanted by the Washington State Department of Corrections for failure to register as a sex offender, has a tattoo of a chain of musical notes that runs down his left arm, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
The 29-year-old is wanted for questioning in connection with a May 22 reported stabbing at Laaloa Beach Park, also known as White Sands Beach, on Alii Drive, according to police. The victim, a 39-year-old Ocean View man, was with family members at the park when he apparently got into a verbal dispute with another man. The other man then reportedly stabbed him on the side of the neck before fleeing in a white Jeep.
The 39-year-old was taken to Kona Community Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
