Penny Gupton will lead a watercolor workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 13 through 16 at her studio in Kona Palisades. The workshop is open to students of all skill levels. Participants will each create a 15-by-20 painting, following Gupton’s step-by-step instructions.
Gupton was the resident artist at Kona Village Resort for 25 years. Her work can be viewed at Harbor Gallery or online at pennygupton.com. Images of most of her Kona Village paintings are included in her book, “Memories of Kona Village,” available online and at Hulihee Palace.
