Road closure this evening for Kona Coffee parade

The portion of Alii Drive traversing the Kailua Village area will close to traffic shortly after 4 p.m. today for the 42nd annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Parade.

The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and travels from Royal Kona Resort to King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel. Alii Drive will reopen by 8:30 p.m, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
