Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week for roadway reconstruction work on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect for roadway reconstruction work on Akoni Pule Highway, between Koko Iki Road and Ala Kahua Drive, in the vicinity of Mahukona, according to the department.
Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Road work is weather permitting.
