Big Island libraries to close Friday

All Big Island libraries will be closed Friday, in advance of the approach of Tropical Storm Ana, state Librarian Richard Burns said.

In addition, programs at all libraries on all islands scheduled for Saturday have been canceled.

Announcements will be made when these programs are rescheduled. Other public libraries may cancel their upcoming programs this weekend. Visit librarieshawaii.org or call your local library.
