HONOLULU — Honolulu police say an 87-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a car.
Honolulu news station Hawaii News Now reports the woman was struck by the vehicle on South King Street Thursday morning.
Police say the 76-year-old driver of the Lexis was heading east when the vehicle struck the pedestrian.
The woman was transported to a hospital, where she died.
