Students at Hawaii Community College – Palamanui demonstrated the knowledge they gained during the fall semester for family members, friends, classmates and college faculty and staff during the Palamanui Hoike on Dec. 2.
Palamanui Hoike is a collaborative event across disciplines that brings together students, instructors and community in acknowledgement of student academic successes. This semester marked the first Hoike held at the new campus. Students from various courses demonstrated their learning through visual displays, performances, culinary dishes, native plant propagation and interactive exhibits.
