High pressure building northeast of the state will continue produce gusty trade winds through Wednesday evening, National Weather Service forecasters in Honolulu said.
Northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with localized gusts reaching 50 mph are forest through 6 p.m. Wednesday. The advisory covers all of the Big Island, except the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa summits.
The service cautioned motorists with high-profile vehicles to drive with caution. Any lightweight outdoor objects should be secured.
