Stall tactics ridiculous

In response to John Burnett’s piece on the challenge to the TMT hearing redo, this is getting ridiculous and needs to stop. The Supreme Court ordered BLNR to hold a second contested hearing and that is what they are trying to do.

But knowing full well that based on facts and not fiction that process would again lead to approval, opponents have set out to drive TMT into looking elsewhere by never allowing the case to move forward.

Support of a STEM educational program is not grounds for blocking appointment of a hearings officer! What’s next? Ruling a candidate out because they don’t dance hula or speak Hawaiian? Over 70 percent of responses to the Star Advertiser Big Q question selected, just stalling the process, no validity to this issue. It is clear what is going on and for the sake of our keiki’s education and the future of Hawaii, it needs to stop!
