Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with the theft of jewelry.
At 1:30 p.m. on June 22, an unknown woman removed jewelry from a sales display at a store on Waterfront Row in Kailua-Kona, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The stolen item was described as a pair of gold earrings with two turtles on double post dangles.
The suspect’s image was captured on surveillance video. She was wearing a dark T-shirt that had white print across the front and depicted the Hawaiian Islands in white on the back right shoulder.
