Free farm financial and insurance workshop offered

The Kohala Center, U.S. Department of Agriculture and AgriLogic Consulting, LLC are sponsoring the event on August 4 at North Hawaii Education and Research Center in Honokaa.

Held from 2:30–4:30 p.m., the training session will focus on the basics of QuickBooks, an accounting and bookkeeping computer program that helps businesses track income and expenses, create invoices and statements and produce financial statements.

The workshop will also provide an overview of federal crop insurance programs.

Registration is free but space is limited.
