Kohala Hospital Charitable Foundation will host a fundraising event on August 27 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Kohala Village Hub in Hawi. All proceeds will be used to buy much needed state-of-the-art hospital beds for the hospital.
Musicians Karen Miller, David Gomes and Wendy Hindley will open the evening, followed by Danny and Anna Akaka, who will present their popular “talk story.” To top the evening off, vocalist Miss Binti Bailey and her band will perform for guests on the dance floor.
Tickets are $100 per person and include two drinks, heavy pupus, a sushi bar, dessert and entertainment.
