The Ms. Aloha Nui Pageant is 5:30 p.m. this evening at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.
The pageant, part of the Hawaii Island Festival, was created to celebrate the women of great stature who embody the “Spirit of Aloha.” In celebrating the beautiful women of the Big Island, we must educate all and honor the old Hawaiian culture, which is in the traditional sense, weighing in at at least 200 pounds as a part of their overall beauty and charm.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cost to enter is $10, in addition to a $5 Hawaii Island Festival button.
