‘Food as Medicine’ talk held in North Kohala

Naturopathic physician, Richard Liebmann, will offer a presentation on growing medicinal foods and herbs at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 at North Kohala Public Library.

Also the owner of Lokahi Garden Sanctuary, he will share information on phytonutrients in local plants he uses to treat chronic illness such as diabetes, high blood pressure and fatigue disorders.

This talk is part of The Good Medicine Series at the library sponsored by Same Canoe Local Food Challenge.
