Volunteers work to preserve dryland forest in Kealakehe

Community members celebrated Hawaii’s dryland forests by volunteering April 8 at the Lai Opua Preserve in Kealakehe. The Preserve is between Kealakehe High School and the West Hawaii Civic Center, on the corner of Ane Keohokalole Hwy and Kealakehe Parkway.
