Thelma Parker Public and School Library closed temporarily

Beginning tomorrow, Waimea’s public library will be closed through Friday. It is scheduled to re-open this Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Repairs to the electrical circuitry at the adjacent Waimea Middle School will require a shutdown of the electrical system that Thelma Parker Library shares. Due to the construction work, the Hawaii State Public Library System determined that closure of the library was necessary out of precaution for the health and safety of staff and patrons. The book drop at Thelma Parker Library will remain available throughout the closure.
