Community service day at Puako Boat Ramp Wednesday

Volunteers are invited to cleanup land around Puako Bay, the adjacent facility and Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail beginning at 8:45 a.m. this Wednesday. The group will meet at Puako Boat Ramp. Waivers, orientation, a choose of pick up sites and cleanup supplies will be provided.

Bring a hat, shoes, sunblock and a water bottle. Cleanup supplies, water, drinks and a snack will be available.

Cigarette filters collected from this cleanup will be shipped to and upcycled by TeraCycle into new products.
