HPD searching for missing teen

KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help locating a 13-year-old boy who apparently ran away from home.

Waiola Akiu, is described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green tank top and gray shorts on South Point Road in Ka‘u.

Anyone with information on is whereabouts should call the Hawaii Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311 or the Ka‘u Police Station 939-2520.

    I am sorry for my post below. I am a recovering alcoholic who was also addicted to crack and oxy.

    I have since joined a recovery program and renounced my Christian religion and my republican political views.

    I apologize but I can no longer be the spineless wimp I used to be when I was drinking and snorting and piping pills and believing god and Trump would save all of us

    I am sorry to have been such a jerk. I have repented.
