Pancakes in Pajamas Party coming to Kohala Public Library

In celebration of local children’s author Frank Asch’s new book, “Pancakes in Pajamas,” North Kohala Library will hold a special celebration this Saturday.

Beginning at 10 a.m., children can get their fill of pancakes, including vegan and gluten-free options. At 10:30 a.m. a Moon Bear puppet show will begin with Asch. Between 11 a.m. and noon there will be face painting with Cynthia Buckles, Father’s Day crafts and a raffle to win a copy of “Pancakes in Pajamas.” Asch will be available during the event for book signings.
