“No imminent danger” at Konawaena HS, DOE says after anonymous threat

KAILUA-KONA — Police will have additional security at Konawaena High School throughout Tuesday following an anonymous threat to the campus received Monday night.

The Department of Education said police were notified immediately and determined there is no imminent danger to the school and would have additional security present “as an added precaution.”
