WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii has announced that she is running for president in 2020.

Gabbard said in a CNN interview slated to air Saturday night that she will be formally announcing her candidacy within the next week.

The 37-year-old Iraq War veteran is the first Hindu elected to Congress. She has visited New Hampshire and Iowa in recent months and has written a memoir that’s due to be published in May.

Gabbard was criticized in 2016 for traveling to Syria and meeting with President Bashar Assad, who has been accused of war crimes. She says it’s important to meet with adversaries if “you are serious about pursuing peace.”

Gabbard was one of the most prominent lawmakers to back Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic primary.

Its one thing to participate in helping in an election…How about gaining some addition experience before running for office.

Experience? Like that stuttering idiot Hussein had?
Does not matter to the true believers.

Alexandra-Ocasio-Cortez had no problems in New York and she’s as dumb as a box of rocks.

That streak of gray is feeding off her rotting brain if she think she has a chance. Besides, she’s an idiot, a total fool. Didn’t mean she couldn’t be elected in Hawaii, there’s no shortage of incompetent fools in office around here, but in the big leagues? Not a prayer, she’ll be eaten alive.

That gray is a pathetic affection. Sort of like some women wearing non-prescription glasses in what I assume is an attempt to look intelligent.

As if weak vision was a sign of higher IQ.

She was criticized for meeting with Assad and her defense was “it’s important to meet with adversaries if you are serious about pursuing peace”. Our president is heavily criticized for wanting to meet Putin and Kim jong un and any other despot around the world to pursue peace.I believe it was the MSM -NYT-WP-ABC-NBC-MSNBC-CBS- ect. who criticized her. She will roll hard left. Just watch how fast.

I heard her speak at the Veterans Day observance at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery recently . She took that somber and sacred occasion to launch into a partisan attack upon our President . Lot’s of smirky smiles , no class . But what was really pathetic was to see so many of our aging local veterans then come up and schmooze to her and thank her , etc etc, as if the remarks she had just made did not occur . It’s been her plan all along to pose as a veteran , to claim that credibility . Sorry , doesn’t work for me one bit . She’s a Bernie Sanders liberal progressive to the core , and would make a poor national leader . To say the least .

I believe the best part of this woman ran down her mom’s leg at conception.
