Body found outside Safeway

KAILUA-KONA — The body of a man was discovered in a grocery store parking lot Monday morning in the Kailua-Kona area.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., the Hawaii Police Department received a report of a man laying on a bench outside Safeway off of Henry Street. During their investigation, police say it was determined the man died from natural causes.

The man’s name or age had not been released as of press time Monday.
