KAILUA-KONA — Celebrate the 31st year of Hawaii Island’s premier holiday extravaganza.
Stroll the scenic seaside while enjoying fine local cuisine and festive libations throughout the Luau Grounds at Kamakahonu Bay during Christmas with the Chefs.
Hosted by The American Culinary Federation Kona Kohala Chefs Association Charitable and Education Fund, a nonprofit organization, the annual event at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 draws in many of the fine restaurants on the Kona-Kohala coast that will be preparing sumptuous tasting stations.
It also benefits the culinary program at Hawaii Community College Palamanui.
Students, Chef Fernand and Chef Paul, will be preparing desserts and savory selections and all of the program’s students will be involved working side by side the talented chefs on the coast gaining valuable experience.
Tasting stations, live music and a silent auction will also be part of the festivities.
Individual tickets cost $90, VIP tables of 10, $1,250, which includes wines and table service.
