Man who shot woman, led police on 11-day manhunt gets 5 years

Walter Gomes III was sentenced to serve up to five years in prison for a March 2019 shooting incident that seriously injured one and triggered an 11-day manhunt that spanned much from South Kona to North Kohala.

A 43-year-old man will spend up to a half-decade behind bars for a 2019 shooting that injured one and triggered an 11-day manhunt.
