Hawaii Island COVID-19 case count surpasses 400

State health officials on Wednesday reported 339 new cases of COVID-19 in Hawaii, including 35 new cases on Hawaii Island.

With the new cases, Hawaii Island’s case COVID-19 count now stands at 418, according to the Hawaii COVID-19 Joint Information Center. Wednesday marked the ninth consecutive day of a double-digit increase in the number of new cases for the island with 209 cases identified since Aug. 25.
